Gavin Maguda is a musician, composer, producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist who releases music  every Friday the 13th. Greatly influenced by a wide variety of acts from The Beatles to Soundgarden or Radiohead to The Beastie Boys, he is able to create music in many different styles and genres. This blending of vast influences creates a style that shows through in every project that he is a part of.

Gavin began his life in music when his parents signed him up for piano lessons at the young age of four. He was hooked immediately and devoted most of his time to learning piano amongst many other instruments that he would pick up along the way including guitar, bass, saxophone, and drums. Gavin later graduated from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Studio Production where he studied with many successful engineers including Peter Denenberg (Spin Doctors producer) and Silas Brown (Grammy-winning producer and mastering engineer). While at Purchase, he assisted on sessions with Pete Malinverni, Lydia Adelle Brown, and the PBS All-Star Orchestra as well as many on campus bands.

Now, you might see Gavin at various venues and live events around Westchester, NY and the greater Tre-State area where he works full time as a musician and audio engineer. In his short career, he has worked alongside Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, the Brubeck Brothers, and Tito Puente Jr. He has also been the Front of House engineer for several festivals including the Diwali Festival in Edison, NJ and Larchmont Music Festival in Larchmont, NY. All of this while he continues releasing music every single Friday the 13th in pursuit of a career as an artist.
